Job Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary contact person between customers and internal departments.
• Manage customer projects from prototype, qualification, First Article Inspection (FAI), pilot run and mass production.
• Lead project kick-off meetings and coordinate project activities among Engineering, Production, QA, Purchasing, Planning and Sales teams.
• Review customer drawings, specifications, quality requirements and project timelines.
• Monitor project schedules and ensure all milestones are achieved according to customer requirements.
• Coordinate prototype, sample and qualification builds to meet committed delivery dates.
• Follow up on project action items and drive timely closure of issues.
• Identify project risks, production constraints and quality concerns, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate engineering changes, drawing revisions and customer change requests.
• Work closely with Production, QC and Assembly Department to ensure production schedules meet project requirements.
• Coordinate with QA Department on FAI reports, inspection requirements and customer submissions.
• Organize customer visits, project review meetings and technical discussions.
• Prepare and present project status reports, project schedules and management updates.
• Maintain project documentation, project trackers and meeting minutes.
• Ensure successful project transfer from development stage into mass production.
• Monitor project performance in terms of Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD).
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management or related field.
• Preferably with minimum 5-8 years working experience in project management, precision machining, semiconductor, automation or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining, fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• Experience managing New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and customer qualifications.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Good understanding of production planning, quality systems and manufacturing workflow.
• Excellent communication, presentation and customer relationship management skills.
• Strong leadership and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with positive working attitude.
• Able to work independently, be structured and systematic during project execution.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and project tracking tools.
• Working knowledge of metal machining and semiconductor industry is an added advantage.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English.
