Working Hours:
Mondays to Thursdays:
7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
Fridays:
7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
No weekends or gazetted Public Holidays required (unless explicitly needed during special periods)

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain General Cleanliness:
Perform routine cleaning, washing, and sanitizing of work surfaces, sinks, and floor spaces across assigned science laboratories.
Apparatus & Equipment Maintenance:
Wash, dry, organize, and neatly store used scientific laboratory apparatus, glassware, and equipment after lessons.
Logistical Support:
Assist science teachers by preparing necessary materials, logistics, and cleaning setups before and after practical classroom lessons.
Inventory & Stock Management:
Regularly check, count, and help top up lab consumables, first-aid boxes, and essential school supplies to ensure they are well-stocked.
Co-worker Coordination:
Cooperate and coordinate with fellow colleagues on the safety and general upkeep of school lab machinery and equipment.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualification:
GCE ‘N’ Level certificate or an equivalent qualification.
Language Proficiency:
Good command of spoken and written English.
Prior Experience:
Previous experience cleaning or maintaining workspaces is required; experience within a school or science laboratory environment is highly preferred.
Core Competencies:
Ability to carefully follow instructions, work reliably under supervision, and perform both independently and collaboratively as a team.
Skills:
Strong basic organizational capabilities and professional time-management skills.
Traits:
High level of personal accountability, caution with sensitive glassware/chemicals, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Flexibility:
Willingness to accommodate minor adjustments in working hours during peak mid-year/end-of-year school examination periods.
