QC Manager/Senior QC Executive

Location: Lok Kawi, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
Salary: RM5,000 – RM6,000 per month

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced QC Manager / Senior QC Executive to oversee quality control operations at a food manufacturing facility in Lok Kawi, Sabah. The role will lead the QC team, monitor production quality, manage QC documentation, and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.

Candidates with 5+ years of QC experience in food manufacturing and team leadership experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor online QC systems and daily production quality data.
• Ensure QC records and reports, including batch, temperature, moisture, and metal detection records, are accurate and up to date.
• Monitor production quality through online dashboards and QC systems.
• Handle non-conformances and deviations and ensure corrective actions are properly recorded.
• Support product trials and first-batch evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, Halal, MeSTI, and ISO requirements.
• Maintain proper QC documentation for internal and external audits.
• Train QC staff and production operators on QC systems, SOPs, and reporting procedures.
• Lead and allocate the QC team to ensure smooth operations across shifts.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of QC experience in food manufacturing.
• Experience in FMCG, biscuits, bakery, or similar food manufacturing is preferred.
• Proven experience leading or managing a QC team.
• Experience with digital QC systems or online production monitoring is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Halal, MeSTI, and ISO.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Food manufacturing experience is compulsory.
• Candidates based in Sabah are strongly preferred.
