Responsibilities:

Food Safety Consultancy:

-         Provide expert advice on food safety practices and regulations.

-         Conduct assessments of food preparation processes to identify potential hazards and recommend improvements through on-site hygiene inspection or verification tour, and document review.

-         Develop and implement food safety management systems.

-         Provision of quality and/or food safety trainings and development of training materials

-         Train production / kitchen staff on food safety protocols and best practices.

Certification Consultancy:

-         Assist companies in obtaining various certifications such as HACCP / ISO 22000 / FSSC22000 (Food Safety Management) and other relevant certifications.

-         Guide companies through the certification process, ensuring compliance with all necessary standards.

-         Conduct pre-audit assessments to identify areas of improvement before the official certification audits.

-         Liaise with certification bodies for smooth certification processes.

Document Preparation:

-         Prepare comprehensive documentation required for food safety audits and certification processes.

-         Develop and maintain food safety manuals, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and other relevant documentation.

-         Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and meets regulatory and certification requirements.

Continuous Improvement:

-         Stay updated with the latest food safety regulations, standards, and best practices.

-         Provide ongoing support and recommendations to clients for continuous improvement in food safety and quality.

-         Monitor and review clients' food safety systems regularly to ensure ongoing compliance and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Education: Degree in Food Science, Food Tech, Microbiology, or a related field.

Experience:

-         Preferably at least 1 or 2 years of working experiences in Food industry

-         Proven experience in food safety management system and/or consultancy.

-         Familiarity with ISO standards and certification processes.

-         Experience in preparing and maintaining food safety documentation.
