Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Business Development Executive to join our freight forwarding team in Malaysia. The role will focus on developing new business, building strong customer relationships, and generating revenue through freight forwarding and logistics services.

Freshers with good communication skills and a strong interest in sales and logistics are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customers for freight forwarding and logistics services.
• Generate leads through cold calling, email, networking, referrals, and market research.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Understand customer requirements and coordinate with the operations team to provide suitable freight solutions.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and commercial offers.
• Promote Sea Freight, Air Freight, Import/Export, Customs Clearance, Transportation, and Door-to-Door Logistics services.
• Negotiate rates and commercial terms with customers.
• Follow up on leads and convert prospects into active customers.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, quotations, and sales activities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates/freshers are encouraged to apply.
• Previous experience in freight forwarding, shipping, logistics, or B2B sales is an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
• Confident, proactive, and target-oriented personality.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
• Willingness to make customer visits and develop new business.
• Candidates who can join immediately are preferred.
