Hiring: DevOps Engineer – Singapore

Job Description

We are looking for experienced DevOps Engineers to design, implement, automate, and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure application delivery and infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate should have experience in DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, deployment automation, and system monitoring.

Candidates with experience in AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), on-premises infrastructure, or hybrid cloud environments are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, testing, deployment, and release management.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, application deployment, and operational tasks.
• Build, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, GCP, or hybrid environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Manage application environments across Development, SIT, UAT, Staging, Pre-Production, and Production.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to ensure system availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, deployment, networking, and production issues.
• Implement security best practices, vulnerability management, secrets management, and DevSecOps processes.
• Support high availability, scalability, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity requirements.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, security teams, cloud architects, and infrastructure teams.
• Perform root cause analysis, incident management, release management, and continuous improvement.
• Optimize infrastructure performance, resource utilization, and cloud expenditure.
• Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, operational runbooks, and infrastructure configurations.

3. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Bicep/ARM Templates, Pulumi, Ansible.

5. Configuration Management: Ansible, Puppet, Chef, SaltStack.

8. Monitoring & Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK Stack, Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, New Relic, Nagios, Zabbix, OpenTelemetry.

9. Operating Systems: Linux, Ubuntu, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS, Windows Server.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in DevOps Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Build and Release Engineering, Infrastructure Automation, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with one or more cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation, version control, and software delivery practices.
• Practical experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, Shell, PowerShell, or similar languages.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, or automated environment provisioning.
• Familiarity with Linux/Windows administration, networking fundamentals, security, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of containerization, orchestration, monitoring, and production support.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Kubernetes administration, cloud-native applications, or microservices.
• Exposure to DevSecOps, GitOps, SRE, and platform engineering practices.
• Experience in enterprise, banking, financial services, government, or other regulated environments.
• Knowledge of cloud security, compliance, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Google Cloud DevOps Engineer, CKA, CKAD, or HashiCorp Terraform Associate.
