Internal Audit Senior Executive

Location: Petaling Jaya, Malaysia

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience: 3 Years

Salary: up to RM7000

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the annual internal audit plan with the appointed third-party audit provider.
• Liaise with business units and auditors to facilitate audit activities and gather supporting documentation.
• Review audit findings, monitor corrective actions, and track remediation progress.
• Prepare audit reports, presentations, and papers for Management and the Audit, Risk & Management Committee (ARMC).
• Support assessments of internal controls, risk management, governance, and regulatory compliance across business and IT operations.
• Identify operational, financial, regulatory, and IT risks and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain audit working papers, documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Support the development of internal audit capabilities and the adoption of best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, Risk Management, or Compliance.
• Basic understanding of internal controls, risk management, governance, audit methodologies, and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with ITGC, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, ISO 27001, ISO 9001, COBIT, or ESG is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, documentation, reporting, and Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• High integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
• Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn and grow within the internal audit function.
