Research Analyst - Technology and Quantitative Finance
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Computer Science Graduate with up to a 3 years of experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching cutting-edge technology products in consumer and enterprise software, automating and implementing technology solutions for internal research, portfolio management, and back-office processes. Additionally, the role involves researching quantitative models and backtesting investment strategies.
Key Responsibilities:

• Technology Research: Investigate and analyze emerging technologies in consumer and enterprise software to inform investment decisions.
• Automation & Implementation: Develop and implement automated solutions for internal research, portfolio management, and back-office operations to enhance efficiency.
• Quantitative Research: Conduct research on quantitative models, including statistical analysis and algorithm development.
• Backtesting Strategies: Design and backtest investment strategies using historical data to evaluate performance metrics such as returns, volatility, and risk-adjusted returns.
• Collaboration: Work closely with investment professionals to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience: Up to 3 years of experience in technology research, quantitative finance, or a related area.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and C# for developing algorithms and automation scripts.
• Familiarity with quantitative trading strategies and backtesting frameworks.
• Comfortable researching and evaluating cutting-edge deep tech products.

• Initiative & Motivation: Ability to take initiative in projects and work independently without constant supervision.
• Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to assess complex information and make data-driven decisions.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication skills for presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders
