Job Responsibilities

1. Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, monitoring and implementing project activities to ensure timely completion.

2. Coordinate technical matters with consultants, contractors, clients and relevant stakeholders, including Architects, C&S Engineers, M&E Engineers and Quantity Surveyors.

3. Review and coordinate technical drawings, submissions, reports and other project-related documents.

4. Liaise with Government Authorities, Local Authorities (PBT) and relevant agencies, including TNB, SAINS, IWK, JPS, JKR and BOMBA, on project submissions and approvals.

5. Monitor project progress, consultant deliverables, authority submissions and approval status to ensure compliance with project schedules.

6. Attend technical, consultant, authority and site meetings, and follow up on outstanding issues and action items.

7. Identify and report technical issues, potential delays and coordination matters to the Project Manager.

8. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including submission trackers, drawing registers, progress reports, meeting minutes and correspondence.

9. Assist in preparing weekly and monthly project progress reports and supporting documents for client payment claims.

10. Ensure proper project filing, document control and compliance with relevant statutory and project requirements.

11. Perform other project coordination, technical and liaison duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Management.

Job Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in construction, infrastructure, property development or project management.

- Fresh graduates with good technical knowledge and communication skills may be considered.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or Microsoft Project is an advantage.

- Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

- Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

- Experience dealing with consultants, contractors and local authorities is an added advantage.

- Possess own transport and be willing to travel to project sites and relevant authorities as required.

Reporting To: Project Manager

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
