About Our Client

Our client is a boutique private bank with a bespoke approach to client relationships, looking to appoint a Head of Credit Advisory in Singapore. Working closely with business leaders and Relationship Managers, this role offers the opportunity to shape lending solutions that support clients’ wealth needs and the bank’s growth. Sitting within the first line, the role combines product expertise, commercial judgement and hands on structuring.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead credit advisory and structuring for the private banking business

• Partner with Relationship Managers to identify financing needs and develop lending solutions

• Structure Lombard facilities against investment portfolios, including complex collateral arrangements

• Prepare and present credit proposals, with clear analysis and recommendations

• Work closely with Credit Risk, Investment Advisory and Product teams to progress transactions

• Advise the business on collateral eligibility, lending parameters and portfolio considerations

• Lead and develop the credit advisory team

Requirements

• Extensive credit advisory or structuring experience within private banking or wealth management

• Strong track record in Lombard lending, credit structuring and credit proposal preparation

• Strong understanding of investment products and their suitability as collateral

• Ability to translate complex client requirements into practical financing solutions

• Commercial judgement and credibility with senior bankers, product specialists and credit approvers

• Strong leadership skills and a collaborative approach to supporting business growth
