KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Restaurant Operations & Team Leadership
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the entire restaurant to ensure smooth, efficient, and professional service.
- Lead, motivate, train, and develop restaurant team members.
- Delegate duties effectively and ensure all staff understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Monitor staff performance, attendance, discipline, productivity, and service standards.
- Create a positive, professional, and teamwork-oriented working environment.
- Lead by example with a hands-on approach during daily operations and peak service periods.
- Work closely with management to ensure the restaurant operates according to company standards, SOPs, and business objectives.
Customer Experience & Service Excellence
- Ensure every customer receives a friendly, professional, prompt, and memorable dining experience.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Handle customer feedback, enquiries, and complaints professionally and effectively.
- Monitor service quality and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure food quality, presentation, portion control, and service standards are consistently maintained.
- Build positive customer relationships and encourage repeat visits.
Sales & Business Performance
- Take ownership of the restaurant’s sales, operational performance, and overall business results.
- Drive sales through upselling, promotions, customer engagement, and local marketing initiatives.
- Monitor daily sales and monthly performance reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales, efficiency, and profitability.
- Work towards achieving sales targets and business objectives.
- Monitor operational costs and implement measures to minimise unnecessary expenses and wastage.
Staff Development & Training
- Conduct staff training, coaching, and on-the-job development.
- Ensure team members understand company SOPs, service standards, menu knowledge, and operational procedures.
- Provide regular feedback and guidance to improve staff performance.
- Identify training needs and work with management to develop team capabilities.
- Support recruitment and onboarding of new team members when required.
Inventory, Suppliers & Administration
- Monitor inventory, stock levels, supplies, and daily operational requirements.
- Liaise with suppliers, vendors, contractors, and maintenance providers when required.
- Assist with ordering and ensure supplies are available for smooth restaurant operations.
- Monitor stock usage, wastage, and operational costs.
- Plan and manage operational activities within the approved budget.
- Assist in improving systems and processes related to payroll, administration, training, and daily operations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate sales, staff, inventory, and operational reports.
Food Safety & Restaurant Standards
- Ensure the restaurant maintains high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety.
- Ensure all team members follow company SOPs and food safety requirements.
- Conduct regular checks on Front-of-House and Back-of-House areas.
- Ensure equipment, facilities, and restaurant areas are properly maintained.
- Address operational issues promptly and escalate serious matters to management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 1 year of experience in F&B, preferably in a supervisory or management position.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Self-motivated, responsible, organised, and able to take ownership of restaurant operations.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic restaurant environment.
- Strong customer service mindset with a passion for hospitality.
- Positive, energetic, and professional personality.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
