Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Operations Research Analyst to support the day-to-day operations of the trading business. The role will focus primarily on operational coordination, trade documentation, data management and reporting, while also conducting research and analysis to support operational efficiency and commercial decision-making.

The successful candidate will work closely with operations team and other relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of accurate reporting and timely resolution of operational issues. The role will also contribute to market research, data analysis and process improvement initiatives to support business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day trading operations, including coordination, shipment monitoring, documentation and liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain operational data and prepare regular reports to monitor trading activities, costs and performance.
• Conduct market research and analyze operational and commercial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Support process improvements, reporting enhancements and other ad hoc operational, analytical and research projects.

Requirements

• Min Bachelor’s degree from recognized university
• Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Good analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into practical insights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization or reporting tools would be an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in handling operational data and documentation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced trading environment and responding to changing operational priorities.
