A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:
Handle and determine quantities, shapes, sizes and location of rods from drawings and sketches.
Plans and prepares rebar schedule (per area)/cutting list schedule according to design specification.
Prepare quantity of steel material needed for design execution.
Control and minimize material wastages.
Compile and prepare material wastage summary; generate monthly report.
Other adhoc duties as assigned by immediate supervisor/management.
Adherence to safety practices in the workplace.
Skills & Requirements
2 - 4 years of Civil Engineering experience
Familiar with relevant drawings, specifications and details
Completed at least 1 Civil project
Technical expertise and knowledge in rebar structural works
Good Knowledge on sequence of works
Ability to read structural drawing in preparing rebar’s quantity
