Role Description This remote role covers Cloud Engineer, Cloud Architect, and Cloud FinOps Analyst responsibilities, focused on designing, building, and optimizing cloud environments for Tafalla Iron Foundry S. Coop. Day-to-day tasks include implementing and managing cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, monitoring performance, and ensuring security and reliability across services. The role also involves collaborating with development and operations teams to design scalable architectures, manage costs through FinOps practices, and support continuous integration and delivery pipelines. In addition, the position requires troubleshooting cloud-related issues, maintaining documentation, and proposing improvements to align cloud solutions with business and manufacturing needs.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Cloud Computing skills, including experience with major cloud providers, cloud architecture design, and cost optimization (FinOps) practices.
• Candidates should possess Infrastructure skills such as building and maintaining virtual networks, storage, compute resources, and automation tools (e.g., IaC frameworks).
• Candidates should possess Software Development skills, including scripting or programming for automation, integration, and tooling (e.g., Python, Java, or similar languages).
• Candidates should possess Linux skills for administering servers, managing services, and troubleshooting system-level issues in cloud environments.
• Candidates should possess Databases skills, including experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, performance tuning, and backup and recovery in the cloud.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and modern DevOps practices is highly beneficial.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to collaborate in distributed, remote teams.
• Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) or FinOps, and a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, are preferred but not mandatory.
