Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related industrial engineering discipline.

• Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years of hands-on plant maintenance experience within a feedmill, flour mill, palm oil mill, or high-volume automated manufacturing facility.

• Work Requirements: On-call availability for emergency plant breakdowns and willingness to support scheduled plant shutdowns during weekends or nights.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced experience configuring or auditing CMMS platforms (such as Fiix) and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) frameworks.

• Strong troubleshooting proficiency in mechanical drive systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and 3-phase industrial electrical systems.

• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or enterprise maintenance software.

Basic understanding of PLC controls, sensor instrumentation, and motor control centers (MCC).

Lead the site Maintenance function in providing both a reactive and proactive, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure. Responsible for planned scheduling creation and overseeing the adherence and timely completion of work carried out. Increase the site operational effectiveness, improve on project delivery, mean time between failure and downtime reduction, and manage and implement improvement plans, driving Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) ensuring that EHS requirements are adhered to. Manage the team on technical best practice and establish standard policies and procedures whilst also mentoring and leading the team. Implement and manage continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principals by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices and processes.

Maintenance (scope includes building and equipment's)

·       Planning of maintenance works i.e., manpower, parts, scheduling.

·       Implementing preventive maintenance program

·       Implementing predictive maintenance program

·       Root cause analysis for failure (5-Why)

·       Monitoring on maintenance expenditure

·       Spare parts management

·       Coaching and training for maintenance staff

Project Management

·       Proposing project for the location

·       Work with Project Coordinator/Maintenance Manager for execution of project

Safety, Health and Environment

·       Provide solutions for continuous improvement in environment and safety of this facility 

·       Ensuring proper safety and environmental measures are taken for project and maintenance works

·       Assisting in safety and environmental sampling and testing

·       Actively participate in EHS committee

·       Safety briefing and training to employees and contractors

·       Participate in  the near miss and incident investigation (5 why, re-enactment, reporting etc)

Continuous Improvement

·       Active involvement to support the continuous improvement program especially in productivity improvement and cost saving initiatives
