About this Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced ICT Senior Manager to provide strategic ICT leadership and drive digital adoption, innovation and operational excellence across the organisation. Based in Singapore and reporting to the Head of Digital, IT & AI, you will lead the development and execution of Cyan Renewables’ ICT strategy, ensuring technology is leveraged to create business value, enhance security and support long-term business growth.

You will oversee ICT operations, cybersecurity, technology projects, digital transformation, risk management, budgeting and vendor relationships while leading and developing a high-performing ICT team. The role requires strong hands-on leadership across resilient data-centre infrastructure, disaster recovery, enterprise networking and secure vessel connectivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the ICT strategy in alignment with business objectives, growth plans and operational priorities.
• Lead technology projects and digital transformation initiatives that deliver measurable business and operational benefits.
• Provide strategic leadership across cybersecurity, ICT governance, risk management and compliance, including ISO 27001 and NIST-aligned practices.
• Drive automation, digitalisation and emerging technology adoption to improve efficiency, agility and user experience.
• Oversee ICT infrastructure, systems and service delivery, ensuring reliable and effective support across all locations.
• Embed IT service management (ITSM) practices across infrastructure and service operations, including incident, problem, change, configuration, asset and service-level management.
• Lead the design and operation of resilient data-centre infrastructure, including synchronised data replication to the disaster recovery site and regular validation of recovery readiness.
• Oversee enterprise flash-storage platforms supporting virtualised workloads, ensuring performance, availability, capacity and recoverability across production and disaster recovery environments.
• Strengthen the cybersecurity architecture and controls across corporate and operational environments, including privileged access management, next-generation firewalls and secure wired and wireless networks.
• Define and implement secure network topologies for vessel operations, integrating shipboard systems, shore connectivity, segmentation, redundancy and remote access across VSAT and Starlink services.
• Manage ICT budgets, CAPEX/OPEX, technology investments using vendor negotiations, cloud cost management and automation efficiencies to maximise business value and support long-term organisational resilience.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors and service providers, including contract and commercial negotiations.
• Establish and maintain effective ICT risk, business continuity and incident response frameworks.
• Lead, develop and motivate a high-performing ICT team, promoting collaboration, innovation and continuous learning.
• Partner with senior leaders and business functions to ensure technology solutions support business performance, resilience and long-term growth.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in ICT management, with strong experience in strategy development and execution.
• Proven ability to align ICT strategy and technology investments with business objectives and operational needs.
• Broad experience across digital transformation, IT project delivery, enterprise infrastructure, cloud solutions and application management.
• Demonstrated experience applying an ITSM framework, such as ITIL, to infrastructure management and service delivery, including incident, problem, change, configuration and asset management.
• Demonstrated experience managing data centres with synchronous data replication to a disaster recovery site, including high-availability design, failover testing and business continuity planning.
• Strong experience with enterprise all-flash storage solutions supporting virtualisation platforms, including storage architecture, performance, resilience, replication and capacity management.
• Practical cybersecurity experience and familiarity with technologies such as CyberArk privileged access management, Palo Alto Networks firewalls, and Aruba wired and wireless networking.
• Advanced network architecture and troubleshooting skills, with proven ability to design and implement secure, segmented and resilient topologies for vessel operations.
• Experience designing, deploying and supporting maritime connectivity solutions, including VSAT and Starlink setup, network topology, redundancy, traffic management and secure integration with shore-based services.
• Experience managing cloud-first strategies and hybrid IT environments, including cloud cost optimisation.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 tenant administration and governance, including identity and access, security, compliance, licensing and service configuration.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams, with strong leadership, people management and change management capabilities.
• Experience managing ICT systems within regulated environments, with knowledge of governance, data protection and security standards.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of an organisation.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and drive initiatives with minimal supervision.
• Strong commitment to integrity, safety, collaboration and security awareness.
• Experience managing multi-site ICT environments, including offshore and remote locations, is desirable.
• Exposure to ICT integration in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) is desirable.
