Kelayakan
- Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in security services, car park operations, commercial buildings, or parking facilities is an advantage.
- Able to work rotational shifts, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Physically fit and capable of conducting regular patrols, including using staircases when required.
- Possess basic communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia; English proficiency is an added advantage.
- Responsible, disciplined, observant, and able to respond calmly during emergencies.
- Basic familiarity with CCTV systems, boom barriers, and parking equipment is an advantage.
- Able to prepare simple daily reports and incident records.
- Willing to comply with company SOPs and instructions from site management.
Tanggungjawab
- Security & Surveillance
- Conduct regular security patrols throughout the car park premises, including parking levels, staircases, entrances, exits, and restricted areas.
- Monitor suspicious activities, unauthorized access, vandalism, theft, and other security threats.
- Monitor CCTV systems where available and report any unusual activities immediately.
- Ensure the safety and security of customers, vehicles, staff, and car park facilities.
- Traffic & Parking Management
- Monitor vehicle movements at car park entry and exit points.
- Assist with traffic control during peak hours, congestion, emergencies, or equipment breakdowns.
- Ensure vehicles are parked in designated parking bays and do not obstruct traffic flow, emergency exits, or access roads.
- Prevent unauthorized parking and access to restricted parking areas.
- Customer Assistance
- Assist customers experiencing difficulties with parking entry and exit, payment terminals, Touch ’n Go cards, or boom barriers.
- Provide basic guidance on parking procedures, payment methods, and MRT Park N’ Ride facilities.
- Direct customers to the appropriate personnel for parking payment disputes, refunds, or technical issues.
- Maintain professional and courteous communication with customers at all times.
- Car Park Equipment Monitoring
- Conduct visual inspections of parking equipment, including boom barriers, LPR cameras, payment terminals, intercoms, and entry/exit terminals.
- Report equipment malfunctions, damaged facilities, power failures, and operational disruptions to the Site Supervisor or Site Manager.
- Assist with manual barrier operations when authorized and in accordance with established procedures.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team during technical breakdowns when required.
- Incident & Emergency Response
- Respond promptly to security incidents, accidents, customer emergencies, fire alarms, and other unexpected situations.
- Immediately notify the Site Supervisor or Site Manager of any major incident.
- Assist emergency responders, including police, ambulance, and fire and rescue personnel, when necessary.
- Secure affected areas and prevent unauthorized access during emergencies.
- Prepare incident reports with accurate details, including date, time, location, and actions taken.
- Daily Reporting & Handover
- Maintain accurate security patrol records, daily occurrence books, and incident reports.
- Record unusual observations, equipment defects, complaints, and other operational matters.
- Conduct proper shift handovers and communicate outstanding issues to the incoming security personnel.
- Report attendance and operational updates to the designated supervisor.
- Compliance & General Duties
- Follow all company security procedures, site-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety regulations.
- Ensure restricted areas remain secured and accessible only to authorized personnel.
- Maintain proper uniform, professional appearance, and discipline while on duty.
- Perform other security-related duties assigned by the Site Supervisor or Site Manager.
