You will act as a trusted thought partner to senior leadership, drive high-quality resource decisions, and foster a supportive environment for both consultants and junior team members. The organisation is renowned for its commitment to measurable client results, its inclusive culture, and its dedication to nurturing talent at every level. Flexible working opportunities, generous pension contributions, and extensive training programmes are just some of the benefits that make this an exceptional place to advance your career.

  • You will be empowered to influence strategic staffing decisions across multiple offices, directly impacting the professional development of consulting teams and supporting their growth within a globally respected organisation.
  • You will join a collaborative network where your interpersonal skills and ability to build trusted relationships are valued, enabling you to work closely with senior leaders and contribute meaningfully to organisational success.

What you'll do:

As Senior Manager, SEA Staffing, you will play a central role in shaping how consulting talent is deployed throughout the region. Your day-to-day activities will involve partnering closely with senior leaders to understand their evolving needs, developing creative solutions for resource allocation, and ensuring that both business objectives and individual professional development goals are met. You will oversee programme management for senior consultant staffing while supporting other classes as needed. By maintaining a forward-looking view on staff balance and capacity, you will proactively identify gaps in resources and collaborate with recruiting teams to address them. Your commitment to continuous improvement will drive enhancements in processes and tools used by the staffing function. Coaching junior team members will be integral to your role; you will nurture their judgement while empowering them with greater responsibility. Acting as a trusted advisor for partners and leadership teams means you will help navigate complex priorities so that resources are allocated effectively. Success in this position requires strong collaboration skills, empathy for individual growth needs, attention to detail in managing confidential information, and an unwavering focus on supporting both people development and business outcomes.

  • Lead programme management for senior consultant staffing across Southeast Asia, ensuring well-balanced case teams and effective deployment of experienced consulting talent.
  • Partner with senior leadership and case managers to understand evolving resourcing needs, assess options, and develop creative solutions using regional resources and other available channels.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to office heads and staffing leadership, providing leverage on key priorities, contributing to staffing strategy, and supporting decision-making through thoughtful analysis and recommendations.
  • Work closely with professional development teams to ensure individual growth needs are considered alongside business requirements as a key input into staffing decisions.
  • Drive optimal levels of billed utilisation across the consulting population by balancing business demands with opportunities that support continued professional growth.
  • Maintain a forward-looking perspective on staff balance, capacity, and resource pyramid across the region; identify emerging gaps and interface with recruiting targets, programme approvals, and leave requests.
  • Champion continuous improvement in daily staffing operations by identifying practical ways to strengthen processes, tools, and ways of working.
  • Lead, coach, and develop junior staffing team members by building their judgement and enabling increasing ownership of responsibilities across classes and portfolios.
  • Act as a sounding board for partners and consulting leadership by constructively pressure-testing resourcing requests on behalf of the office overall.
  • Help navigate competing priorities to ensure resources are deployed against identified efforts while maintaining alignment with organisational goals.
