What The Role Is

The incumbent's job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

What You Will Be Working On

  • Manage assigned mechanical assets, contracts and projects.
  • Lead and guide assistant engineers in inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, fault response and contractor supervision to maintain safe, robust, reliable and efficient operations of mechanical assets.
  • Investigate faults, conduct engineering assessments and recommend solutions.
  • Prepare and put up tender documents, specifications, project cost estimates and technical evaluations, including project management.
  • Develop and deliver projects for mechanical assets maintenance, replacement, enhancement and upgrading works, including maintaining complete asset and project records.
  • Manage and monitor project safety, quality, progress, cost and deliverables.
  • Prepare and monitor CAPEX and OPEX for assigned works.
  • Conduct pressure and pumping studies for high-ground areas.
  • Review and assess staff performance

What We Are Looking For

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering
