Regional Business Development Manager – Asia

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia or Jakarta, Indonesia

We are recruiting a Regional Business Development Manager – Asia on behalf of an international company operating in the Oil & Gas sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, expanding the company's presence across Asian markets and building strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the Asian Oil & Gas market.
• Build and maintain relationships with operators, service companies and key industry stakeholders.
• Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Identify upcoming projects, market trends and commercial opportunities.
• Manage key accounts and develop a strong pipeline of business opportunities.
• Support tender processes, commercial proposals and contract negotiations.
• Monitor competitor activities and market developments.
• Collaborate with internal technical and operational teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide regular sales forecasts and pipeline updates.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in business development or technical sales within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of the Asian Oil & Gas market and its key players.
• Established professional network within the industry.
• Demonstrated ability to develop new accounts and generate business opportunities.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel across the region.

Location: Candidates must be based in, or willing to relocate to, Kuala Lumpur or Jakarta.
