Construction Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee daily site activities and ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities, workers, and subcontractors.
• Plan work schedules and arrange manpower, materials, tools, and equipment.
• Monitor progress and resolve site issues to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable building requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and maintain workmanship and quality standards.
• Enforce workplace safety procedures and report hazards, incidents, and unsafe practices.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Maintain daily site records, progress reports, attendance, and material delivery records.
• Monitor material usage and minimise waste.
• Identify defects and oversee rectification work through project handover.

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building, or a related discipline preferred.
• At least 3 years of relevant construction experience, including experience supervising site teams.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Working knowledge of construction methods, materials, quality control, and workplace safety.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple work activities and meet deadlines.
• Relevant safety and supervisory certifications required for the project or location.
• Willingness to work on-site and additional hours when required.
