Job Summary
Develop detailed architectural/interior drawings and 3D BIM models to support project delivery, ensuring compliance with regulations and coordination across disciplines in a dynamic design environment.
Responsibilities
Develop detailed working drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details for Authorities' submissions and tender documentation using AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
Translate conceptual design sketches into precise technical drawings to support project development
Ensure all working drawings comply with Authorities' requirements, building codes, and safety regulations to facilitate approvals
Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines to ensure design integration
Verify dimensions, specifications, and drawing accuracy; update drawings progressively and maintain organized project documentation from concept through as-built stages
Communicate effectively with project teams to resolve design and coordination issues promptly
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Diploma or certificate in Architecture or Architectural Technology
Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM and SketchUp is advantageous
Understanding of construction methods, building materials, finishes, building services, and architectural/interior detailing
Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
Experience in drafting architectural projects is preferred
Familiarity with Authorities' requirements, building codes, safety regulations, and submission processes is advantageous
Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
Good communication and coordination abilities
