We're Hiring | Business Analyst | Singapore

Location: Singapore, Contract

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a leading financial services organization and contribute to business analysis, regulatory reporting, and application development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive business analysis to address business needs and improve processes.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, Architects, and cross-functional teams.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and functional specifications.
• Define business rules for regulatory reporting, business operations, and data transformation.
• Support functional design, solution testing, and implementation.
• Work closely with development teams to define technical implementation specifications.
• Maintain data dictionaries and promote best practices in data management.
• Support Agile delivery using Scrum, Jira, and Kanban methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
• Good functional knowledge of financial products and regulatory reporting.
• Knowledge of APAC transaction reporting regulations such as ESAP, MiFID II, SFTR, and EMIR is desirable.
• Strong data analysis skills using SQL, Oracle, or Sybase.
• Understanding of global markets processes, including Pricing and Sales/Trader workflows, is an advantage.
• Exposure to Microservices architecture, Kibana, and Collibra is a plus.
• Knowledge of FPML, XML, XSLT, and XPath is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with European and/or Asian transaction regulatory reporting requirements.
• Experience using Generative AI tools for business analysis with appropriate guardrails is a plus.
