Responsibilities

• You must manage, implement, support and maintain Back Office systems and their interfaces to support business operations and company objectives.
• You are expected to lead daily IT operations, including system support, infrastructure, network maintenance and preventive maintenance to maintain system availability.
• You must collaborate with internal teams, business users, project members and external vendors to ensure effective coordination and service delivery.
• You are expected to maintain proper technical documentation and ensure clear communication among all relevant stakeholders.
• You must proactively identify potential system issues, implement preventive measures and maintain 99.9% system availability.
• You must ensure seamless integration between supported systems and internal or external interfaces while complying with company and regulatory requirements.
• You are expected to lead project implementations, system enhancements and change initiatives within agreed timelines and requirements.
• You must produce stable and reliable system solutions while maintaining existing system operations and availability.
• You are expected to manage front, middle and back-office system changes and business requirements in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• You must coordinate with outsourced vendors to ensure effective IT service delivery and operational support.
• You are expected to resolve audit findings promptly and ensure all required corrective actions are completed.
• You must oversee the successful execution of annual and half-yearly system exercises in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines.
• You must ensure compliance with Change Management processes and participate in project implementation and system change activities.
• You are expected to maintain compliance with BNM GPIS, Bursa Malaysia, IT and Investment Bank IT frameworks, policies and procedures.
• You must design and implement effective preventive and operational support approaches to improve system stability and reliability.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or an equivalent qualification
• 3–5 years of relevant working experience, particularly in AS400 and stockbroking.
• Strong knowledge of AS400 and stockbroking business operations.
• Knowledge of RPG, SQLRPG, WRKQRY, Java, Linux, WebSphere and Windows Server is an added advantage.
• Ability to handle Back Office application support and user administration.
• Strong accountability, initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business users, operations teams, project teams and vendors.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
