Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Engineering Executive / Senior Engineering Executive to oversee the maintenance and daily operations of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems within a commercial property.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily M&E operations, including ACMV, electrical, fire protection, BMS and plumbing systems.
Supervise technicians and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Manage contractors and service providers to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair works.
Conduct building inspections and ensure compliance with safety and statutory requirements.
Coordinate maintenance contracts, quotations, tender exercises and procurement activities.
Plan and oversee M&E upgrading works and capital expenditure projects.
Review tenants' renovation proposals and coordinate technical requirements.
Address maintenance issues and liaise with tenants and relevant stakeholders.
Monitor utility consumption, prepare maintenance reports and recommend improvements.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, servicing and regulatory compliance.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant M&E facilities management experience.
Experience managing M&E operations in commercial properties, such as office buildings, retail developments or mixed-use commercial premises.
Good knowledge of building services, preventive maintenance and statutory compliance.
Experience in contractor supervision, maintenance contracts and project coordination.
Strong problem-solving, communication and organisational skills.
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
