Our client is an established multinational organisation within the healthcare industry, with a strong presence across Asia Pacific. As part of its continued regional growth and transformation, the organisation is looking to strengthen its finance capabilities and drive greater operational efficiency, governance and process improvements.

About the Role

This role will be responsible for providing technical accounting guidance, supporting revenue recognition matters and strengthening accounting processes and controls across Asia Pacific. The successful candidate will work closely with regional and local stakeholders to ensure consistent application of accounting policies, address complex accounting matters and drive continuous improvements across the finance function.

The position offers an opportunity to gain broad regional exposure, partner with cross-functional teams and contribute to ongoing finance transformation and process enhancement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical accounting guidance on revenue recognition matters, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and corporate policies.
• Review commercial contracts and non-standard arrangements to assess accounting implications and recommend appropriate treatments.
• Support regional revenue accounting activities, including the review of accounting methodologies, estimates and key judgements.
• Drive process improvement and standardisation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and consistency across regional markets.
• Strengthen accounting governance and internal controls, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with regional Finance, Commercial and other cross-functional stakeholders to address accounting matters and provide practical recommendations.
• Support regional finance projects and transformation initiatives to enhance reporting processes, controls and overall operational effectiveness.

Key Requirements

• CA qualified with 8-10 years of relevant experience in accounting, external audit or financial controllership.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly in US GAAP and revenue recognition.
• Sound understanding of SOX 404, internal controls and financial reporting requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex accounting matters into practical recommendations.
• A proactive, adaptable and collaborative professional who is comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving environment.
