Key Responsibilities
- Undertake and assist in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies and related environmental consultancy projects.
- Prepare and implement Environmental Management Plan (EMP) and Erosion and Sediment Control Plan (ESCP).
- Conduct environmental modelling, data analysis and interpretation where required.
- Conduct environmental audits, compliance assessments and site inspections.
- Prepare technical reports, environmental monitoring reports and regulatory submissions.
- Conduct site visits, environmental sampling, monitoring and data collection.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants and relevant authorities, particularly Department of Environment (DOE/JAS).
- Review environmental performance and recommend appropriate mitigation and improvement measures.
- Assist in project planning, coordination and delivery within agreed timelines.
- Perform other environmental consultancy-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management or related disciplines.
1–3 years of relevant experience in environmental consultancy is preferred.
- Practical experience in one or more of the following:
EIA, EMP, ESCP, Environmental Modelling, Environmental Audit / Compliance Audit, Environmental Monitoring
- Good understanding of Malaysian environmental legislation, guidelines and DOE/JAS requirements.
- Strong technical report writing and analytical skills.
- Able to conduct site work and work independently with minimum supervision.
- Willing to travel for project assignments and site visits.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of relevant environmental modelling/GIS software will be an advantage.
- Relevant DOE competency certification / professional membership will be an added advantage.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,999.00 per month
