• Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality management or quality assurance role, preferably in the manufacturing industry

• Strong technical knowledge of quality control methods, tools, and best practices

• Proven experience in leading and motivating a team of quality professionals

• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to quality assurance

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

About the Role

As the Quality Department Manager at FLEX PRECISION MANUFACTURING (MALAYSIA) SDN.BHD., you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across the company's manufacturing operations. In this full-time position based in Johor Bahru, Johor, you will be responsible for leading and directing the quality assurance and control team, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and upholding the company's commitment to excellence.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop and implement effective quality control systems and procedures to monitor and improve product quality

• Manage and lead the quality assurance team, providing guidance, training, and performance management

• Analyse quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues

• Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to improve manufacturing processes and reduce defects

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and the company's quality policies

• Participate in the development and implementation of quality-related projects and initiatives

• Prepare and present quality-related reports, metrics, and recommendations to senior management
