We are seeking a skilled and environmentally conscious Environmental Engineer to develop, implement, and monitor environmental protection strategies within the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, minimizing environmental impacts, managing waste and pollution control systems, and promoting sustainable industrial practices.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of environmental engineering, pollution prevention, waste management, environmental monitoring, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement environmental management plans, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor industrial operations to ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and standards.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIA) and environmental risk assessments.
• Monitor air emissions, wastewater discharge, noise levels, and other environmental parameters.
• Develop and implement effective waste management, recycling, and pollution control programs.
• Inspect industrial facilities to identify potential environmental hazards and compliance issues.
• Recommend solutions to reduce air, water, and soil pollution.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, treatment, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities, environmental agencies, and external consultants.
• Conduct environmental audits, inspections, and compliance assessments.
• Prepare environmental reports, technical documentation, and regulatory submissions.
• Implement environmental management systems in accordance with ISO 14001 requirements.
• Work closely with production, operations, maintenance, and EHS teams to improve environmental performance.
• Investigate environmental incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop initiatives to improve energy efficiency, resource conservation, and sustainable operations.
• Provide environmental awareness training to employees and contractors.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in environmental management, industrial operations, or environmental compliance (preferred).
• Strong understanding of environmental laws, regulations, and industrial environmental standards.
• Knowledge of air pollution control, wastewater treatment, solid waste management, and hazardous waste handling.
• Familiarity with Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and Initial Environmental Examination (IEE).
• Understanding of ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
• Experience with environmental monitoring, inspections, and auditing.
• Proficiency in MS Office and environmental reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination abilities.
