Key responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation requirements.
• Monitor food receiving, storage, temperature control, expiry dates, and stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO).
• Maintain proper records for food safety, cleaning, temperature, pest control, and stock.
• Check incoming raw materials for quality, quantity, packaging condition, and expiry dates.
• Manage dry, chilled, and frozen storage areas.
• Conduct regular stock counts and report shortages, wastage, or damaged items.
• Ensure proper labelling and segregation of food items.
• Coordinate with kitchen and purchasing teams on stock requirements.
• Keep the storeroom clean, organised, and pest-free.
• Assist during food safety inspections and audits.
• Train or remind staff on basic food hygiene and safe food handling practices.

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in catering, restaurant, central kitchen, or food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Storekeeping/inventory experience.
• Good record-keeping and organisational skills.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced catering environment.
• Food safety certification/training is an advantage.
• Basic computer skills for inventory records.

Pay: RM1,453.33 - RM3,085.39 per month
