Job description:
Soh Hong Engineering Pte Ltd is a stainless steel and sheet-metal fabricator serving the semiconductor, electronics and wafer industries. We are looking for a reliable driver to handle our deliveries and support our workshop team.
Driving (about 60%)
Deliver finished goods to client sites across Singapore
Collect items from subcontractors and buy materials, hardware and consumables when required
Register for and maintain client contractor passes to enter delivery sites
Load and unload goods, including heavy items (with team support for manual loads)
Keep the company vehicle clean and roadworthy, and report any issues
Workshop support (about 40%)
Clean and pack finished goods for delivery
De-burr materials and remove protective film from stainless steel plates
General housekeeping and other non-fabrication tasks
Requirements
Valid Class 3 driving licence
Familiar with Singapore roads
Physically fit and able to handle heavy items
Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
Working hours
Mon–Fri: 8.30am – 5.30pm (1-hour lunch, two 15-minute tea breaks)
Sat: 8.30am – 12.30pm
Overtime paid at 1.5× when required
