About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the execution and delivery of offshore Transportation & Installation (T&I) projects. This role is responsible for the overall management of project delivery, including commercial performance, client engagement, project execution, financial management, resource planning, and HSE leadership.
The successful candidate will drive project performance from award through offshore execution and close-out, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Delivery
- Lead the end-to-end execution of offshore T&I projects, including engineering, procurement, fabrication interfaces, marine operations, installation, and project close-out.
- Establish project execution strategies, deliverables, schedules, and performance objectives.
- Manage project risks, critical path activities, and operational challenges to ensure successful project delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, marine stakeholders, and project partners.
Commercial & Financial Management
- Take full ownership of project P&L, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and revenue performance.
- Monitor project expenditures and drive cost optimisation initiatives.
- Lead commercial discussions, contract administration, variations, and change management activities.
- Maximise project profitability while maintaining operational excellence and client satisfaction.
Offshore Operations Leadership
- Oversee offshore campaign readiness, mobilisation planning, vessel utilisation, and execution performance.
- Coordinate with Marine Warranty Surveyors (MWS), vessel teams, project engineers, and key stakeholders.
- Ensure operational risks, weather impacts, resource constraints, and logistical challenges are effectively managed.
- Support critical offshore installation activities and execution decision-making.
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams comprising Project Engineers, Planners, and support functions.
- Drive collaboration, accountability, and high-performance culture across the project organisation.
- Mentor and develop project personnel to strengthen organisational capability.
HSE Leadership
- Champion a strong safety culture throughout project execution.
- Ensure compliance with client, regulatory, and company HSE requirements.
- Lead risk assessments, safety reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Mechatronics or equivalent).
- Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
Experience
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas project execution.
- Proven experience managing offshore Transportation & Installation (T&I) projects.
- Strong background in marine operations, offshore construction, subsea installation, heavy lift campaigns, or vessel-based project execution.
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale projects and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience delivering projects valued between RM100 million and RM500 million is preferred.
