Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and engaging Primary English Teacher, preferably with EFL/ESL teaching experience, to develop students’ English language proficiency and prepare them for progression to secondary-level Cambridge IGCSE studies.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons suitable for primary students.
• Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and vocabulary skills.
• Apply effective teaching strategies to support students with different English proficiency levels.
• Prepare teaching materials, assignments, and assessments to monitor student progress.
• Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning environment.
• Provide feedback and support to improve students’ English language skills.
• Communicate with parents and collaborate with colleagues on students’ academic development.
• Participate in school activities, departmental meetings, and professional development programmes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, TESL, TESOL, Education, Applied Linguistics, or a related field.
• Relevant teaching qualification is an advantage.
• Experience teaching Primary English, preferably in an international school setting.
• EFL/ESL teaching experience is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Cambridge Primary English curriculum is an advantage.
• Good communication, lesson-planning, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to engage students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

• Passionate about teaching young learners and developing their English language confidence.
• Able to create interactive, student-centred lessons.
• Strong understanding of English language acquisition and differentiated instruction.
• Able to build a strong foundation in English to support students’ future progression to Cambridge IGCSE studies.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM4,700.00 per month
