The Role

As a Regulatory Compliance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that Arki adheres to regulatory standards, internal policies, and industry best practices. This individual will work closely with leadership, various teams, and external regulator to mitigate risks, promote a culture of compliance, and safeguard the organisation’s reputation. 

What You Will Do

• Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, particularly those related to financial services and data protection.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with regulatory bodies and manage audits, inspections, and inquiries.
• Develop, update, and implement compliance policies and procedures to align with regulatory requirements and company values.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify compliance vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
• Establish mechanisms to monitor, detect, and address compliance issues proactively.
• Implement and oversee systems for tracking compliance metrics, incidents, and remedial actions.
• Provide guidance to teams on regulatory requirements during product development, marketing, and operations.
• Lead investigations into suspected compliance breaches or concerns, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in compliance (e.g., ICA, ACAMS) is a plus.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a compliance role handling retail client base within financial services, fintech, or a related industry. 
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in Singapore, including financial regulations and AML/CFT standards. 
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess risks and propose effective solutions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with internal teams and external regulators. 
• Meticulous and high attention to detail.
