Responsibilities:

• Assist Head of Kitchen in supervising kitchen staff during service.
• Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to standardized recipes.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety in compliance with SOPs.
• Monitor stock levels, assist in requisitioning, and minimize wastage.
• Train and guide commis staff in cooking techniques and kitchen discipline.
• Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation.

Job Description:

• Reliable and punctual, with a professional attitude and strong work ethic.
• Provide leadership to ensure kitchen standards are consistently met.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills to progress to higher kitchen roles.

Requirements / Qualification:

• Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in hot kitchen or culinary training.
• Strong knowledge of cooking methods, sauces, and hot line preparation.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Team leadership and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts and support outlet operations.
• Own transport.
