Overview

Looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager – ERP/SAP to lead a major ERP system replacement and transformation programme within the banking sector. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing SAP-led ERP transformation/replacement projects, with solid functional understanding of Finance and Procurement processes and proven experience managing vendors through implementation and rollout.


What you'll do:

  • Lead end-to-end ERP replacement/transformation projects from planning through implementation and rollout.
  • Review and evaluate RFPs, proposals and vendor responses.
  • Manage system integrators, technology vendors and implementation partners.
  • Drive project governance, timelines, risks, dependencies and stakeholder management.
  • Coordinate business, technology, finance and procurement stakeholders.
  • Oversee implementation, testing, UAT, cutover, go-live and post-go-live activities.
  • Ensure alignment between business requirements and ERP solution design.
  • Manage vendor performance, deliverables and project milestones.


What you'll need:

  • Strong SAP experience is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in ERP replacement / transformation programmes.
  • Experience with SAP ECC6 → S/4HANA / RISE or SAP ECC6 migration/replacement with another ERP.
  • Multiple successful ERP transformation/replacement projects preferred.
  • Strong functional understanding of:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Fixed Assets (FA)
  • Leased Assets
  • Procurement processes
  • Contract → PR → PO → GR → Invoice → Payment
  • Strong experience in RFP review, vendor evaluation and vendor management.
  • Experience managing projects through implementation, UAT, go-live and rollout.
  • Excellent stakeholder and senior management communication skills. Test management tools such as Jira/Xray, Azure DevOps, qTest or ALM
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams across time zones
  • Clear communication with senior stakeholders


Must Have Skills:

Banking + SAP + ERP Replacement/Transformation + ECC6/S4HANA/RISE + Finance/Procurement + RFP/Vendor Management.
