Davenport Machine Master Setter

Location : Seremban (Negeri Sembilan)

Salary : RM10000

Working hours : 2 Shift Time

Key Responsibilities: -

* Perform complete setup and adjustment of Davenport screw machines for production runs, ensuring part accuracy and consistency.

* Train and guide new setters and operators in proper setup procedures, tooling alignment, and safety practices.

* Support machine commissioning and facility expansion, including installation and integration of new equipment.

* Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to troubleshoot mechanical or process issues.

* Continuously improve cycle times and process reliability through fine-tuning and data analysis.

* Maintain documentation of setups, tooling configurations, and process parameters.

* Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

* Provide technical input to supervisors for production planning and tooling development.

Qualifications & Experience:

-Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Machining Technology, or a related technical field is preferred.

-Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in machine setup and machining operations, with strong hands-on experience in Davenport screw machines or multi-spindle automatic screw machines.

-Extensive experience in machine setup, tooling selection and alignment, machine adjustments, and process parameter optimization.

-Strong technical knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools, engineering drawings, and precision measurement instruments.

-Proven ability to independently troubleshoot complex mechanical and machining process issues to minimize production downtime.

-Experience in machine commissioning, equipment installation, production line expansion, and integration of new machinery.
