Role Description As a Software Architect at Xionex GmbH, you will design and oversee the architecture of AI-driven software solutions for financial services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance with industry standards. You will collaborate closely with product managers, AI engineers, and delivery teams to translate business and operational requirements into robust technical designs, guiding implementation and integration efforts. Your day-to-day work will include reviewing and refining software designs, selecting appropriate technologies and design patterns, performing architectural reviews and code walkthroughs, and mentoring development teams on best practices. You will contribute to technical roadmaps, documentation, and reference architectures that support vertical AI agents and high-performance service delivery. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur, with a mix of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Software Architecture and Software Design, with the ability to define and communicate scalable, secure, and maintainable system architectures.
• Hands-on experience in Software Development and Programming, preferably with modern languages and frameworks used in distributed, cloud-native systems.
• Solid understanding of Design Patterns and architectural styles (e.g., microservices, event-driven, domain-driven design) and their practical application.
• Experience designing or integrating AI/ML or data-intensive applications, ideally in financial services (banking, insurance, trade finance, compliance, or related domains).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization, APIs, and security best practices in regulated environments.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams, communicate complex technical concepts clearly, and provide technical leadership and mentorship.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experienc
