Job description

• Be a key contact for client enquiries and own them from receipt to resolution
• Coordinate with internal teams and update clients on status, cut-offs, documents, fees and outcomes
• Process domestic and international remittances
• Handle charge and fee payments and collections
• Process eGIRO and G3 payments
• Reconcile nostro breaks and support investigations
• Follow controls, procedures and MAS requirements
• Flag operational risks and exceptions early
• Spot recurring client issues and escalate for fixes
• Support payments projects, UAT and industry-wide testing
• Keep procedures and work instructions up to date
• Share knowledge and cross-train the team

Requirements

• At least 6 years in payment operations or cash management in banks
• Hands-on experience with payments, client enquiries and investigations
• Knowledge of SWIFT, operational controls and MAS requirements
• Knowledge of payment screening exceptions and ISO 20022

About the role

• Join the Payment Services team of an international bank in Singapore
• Support corporate clients across cash management, electronic banking, remittance, clearing, and inward and outward payments

What you’ll bring

• 6+ years in payment operations, cash management or transaction banking operations
• Hands-on experience with payments, client enquiries and investigations
• Client services experience
• Knowledge of SWIFT, operational controls and MAS requirements
• Knowledge of payment screening exceptions and ISO 20022
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Clear written and spoken English
• Comfortable with banking systems and Microsoft Office
• Experience with electronic banking, remittance, clearing, nostro reconciliation, eGIRO or G3 is a plus
