The Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join us on an 8-month contract, working onsite in Kuala Lumpur within the banking and financial services sector. You will take ownership of system projects and enhancements, guiding them from inception through to closure while coordinating internal teams and external vendors. What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end project management for system enhancements and implementations, from project charter and plan through to completion

• Scope requirements, prepare budgets and manage project costs, schedules and change control

• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on the design, development and implementation of projects, including sourcing and selecting software products

• Run weekly status meetings and present progress reports to management and project steering committees

• Proactively identify risks and issues, and put mitigation plans in place

• Ensure delivery meets quality standards, support post-live issues during the warranty period, and lead project closure and post-implementation reviews

What We're Looking For

• At leas 5 years of project management experience with a proven track record in software implementation delivery

• Experience delivering medium to large scale projects on time, within scope and on budget

• Experience in internet banking, mobile applications or digital delivery projects is preferred

• Good knowledge of banking and financial services systems, including governance, audit and compliance for project delivery

• Strong skills in project planning, risk management, quality control and vendor management

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, project management tools and PowerPoint

• Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead multi-department teams under pressure
