About the Company

A leading multinational organisation is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join its finance team in Kuala Lumpur. Supporting the Australian business, this role offers an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates and junior finance professionals to build their career within a collaborative and stable environment.

You will be part of an established Malaysian team supporting Australia operations, with reporting lines into Australia and close interaction with Australian vendors and stakeholders.

The Role

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day AP operations while ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, vendor management, and payment execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Verify invoices and supporting documentation.
• Manage vendor account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support payment processing activities.
• Communicate with vendors and stakeholders in Australia regarding payment and invoice enquiries.
• Maintain accurate financial records and AP documentation.
• Assist with month-end closing activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.

What You'll Need

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Up to 1 year of accounting or finance experience.
• Basic understanding of Accounts Payable processes.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
