Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in Account Payable or general accounting.

• Familiar with supplier reconciliation, AP Aging, payment processing and accounting procedures.

• Knowledge of inventory accounting, fixed assets and expense management will be an advantage.

• Familiar with e-Invoice and self-billed e-Invoice will take advance

• Experience using Odoo or other accounting systems will be an added advantage.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

• Good analytical, problem-solving and reconciliation skills.

• Meticulous, organized and able to maintain proper documentation.

• Able to work independently, take ownership of assigned tasks and meet deadlines.

• Good communication and follow-up skills when dealing with suppliers and internal departments.

1. Account Payable Management - Manage daily accounts payable transactions, including supplier invoices, debit notes and credit notes

2. Inventory Cost and Profit & Loss - Investigate discrepancies between stock records, GRN and supplier invoices.

3. Fixed Assets Management - Maintain the Fixed Asset Checklist

4. Liabilities & Expenses Management

   • Ensure all expenses are properly recorded, supported by documents and settled within the required timelines.

   • Follow up on outstanding payments until transactions are approved, completed and properly documented.

5. Financial Analysis & Reporting - Prepare and update relevant accounting schedules and analysis reports.

6. Month-End Closing & Audit Support - assist in monthly and year-end account closing. Ensure all relevant accounting records are complete and accurate before closing.
