Role Description The Site Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Pasir Gudang, responsible for overseeing daily construction activities and ensuring work is carried out according to plans, quality standards, and safety regulations. This role includes coordinating and supervising site workers and subcontractors, monitoring progress, and reporting on project status to project managers and other stakeholders. The Site Supervisor reviews drawings and specifications, checks materials and workmanship, and addresses issues or delays to keep the project on schedule. The role also involves enforcing safety procedures, conducting site inspections, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting continuous improvement in site operations.
Qualifications
- Ability to supervise construction activities, coordinate site teams, and manage subcontractors effectively.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building standards, including quality and safety requirements.
- Skills in reading and interpreting technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Competence in site documentation, reporting, and use of basic project management tools.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle on-site issues and keep projects on track.
- Relevant experience in construction site supervision; residential or commercial development experience is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and workplace safety practices.
- Willingness to work on-site in Pasir Gudang and adapt to changing project requirements.
