Job Description

• Oversee and manage overall store operations, sales performance and customer service.
• Work closely with the Pharmacist to ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor, analyze and drive sales performance through effective planning, promotions and action plans to achieve store targets and profitability.
• Lead, coach and motivate store staff through conduct product knowledge training, performance guidance and ongoing development to maintain high service standards.
• Ensure excellent customer service by handling customer inquiries, feedbacks, product related concerns and service escalations professionally.
• Support and coordinate marketing activities and in-store promotional campaigns to drive customer engagement and sales growth.
• Oversee staff management matters, including leave planning, attendance monitoring, punctuality, discipline and ensuring staff comply with company policies while acting as a role model to the team.
• Ensure daily operational tasks and work routines are carried out effectively, including completion of operational checklists with the support of supervisor.
• Manage inventory control, including monitoring stock levels, conducts regular stock checks, minimizing stock discrepancies and ensuring timely replenishment.
• Monitor and manage short-expiry products, overstock and stock movement to minimize wastage and lossess.
• Ensure smooth collaboration and communication among staff to maintain efficient store operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe and welcoming store environment at all times.
• Undertake any other duties or responsibilities assigned by superior or management from time to time.

Job Requirement

• Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Management or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in retail pharmacy managerial role.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Willing to work in Semporna, Sabah.
