we are looking for an infrastructure engineer to build and support enterprise Linux and VMware environments in Singapore. The role combines server administration, virtualisation, deployment automation and production support.

Requirements

• Administer RHEL, CentOS, Oracle Linux and Ubuntu servers, including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades and troubleshooting.

• Perform vulnerability remediation, system hardening, access administration and backup and recovery.

• Manage VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, virtual machines and clusters, including migrations, snapshots, upgrades and disaster recovery.

• Support High Availability, Distributed Resource Scheduler and storage integration.

• Build and deploy server environments, maintain configuration standards and monitor performance, availability and capacity.

• Automate routine tasks with Bash, Shell, Python or Ansible; support CI/CD and infrastructure as code where applicable.

• Investigate incidents and root causes, implement changes under ITIL processes and maintain operational runbooks and technical documentation.

• Coordinate deployments with application, database, network and security teams.
