MRA International Sdn Bhd is looking for an experienced Senior Asset Integrity Engineer (MCI) to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting materials, corrosion, inspection and asset iplicable industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and execute Materials, Corrosion & Inspection (MCI) and asset integrity activities.
- Develop and review corrosion management strategies, inspection programs and integrity management plans.
- Perform and review Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) and Fitness-for-Service (FFS) assessments.
- Evaluate corrosion mechanisms, degradation threats and inspection findings for piping, pressure vessels and other static equipment.
- Review visual inspection and NDT reports and provide appropriate technical recommendations.
- Assess equipment condition, remaining life and continued operating risk.
- Recommend suitable corrosion mitigation, temporary repairs and permanent repair solutions for identified anomalies.
- Develop and maintain Corrosion/Degradation Models and corrosion monitoring programs.
- Provide technical input on materials selection, corrosion control and inspection requirements.
- Conduct engineering assessments, Root Cause Failure Analysis and technical investigations where required.
- Prepare inspection plans, repair scopes, technical reports and engineering recommendations.
- Review engineering documents and drawings related to fabrication, modification, repair and maintenance activities.
- Monitor and track inspection findings, anomalies and integrity recommendations in COMPANY systems or databases.
- Ensure inspection and integrity activities comply with COMPANY specifications, applicable API/ASME standards and recognised engineering practices.
- Lead and provide technical guidance to inspectors, junior engineers and trainee engineers.
- Coordinate with operations, maintenance, inspection, engineering and other relevant stakeholders.
- Assist the COMPANY Engineer in managing overall MCI and asset integrity activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve inspection effectiveness, corrosion management and asset reliability.
- Participate actively in HSE, quality and continuous improvement programmes.
- Ensure instructions issued by the COMPANY Representative are properly implemented.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Asset Integrity, Materials, Corrosion, Inspection or related oil & gas engineering activities.
- Possess a valid API 570 certification.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other relevant engineering discipline is preferred.
- Strong experience in corrosion management, inspection engineering, RBI and FFS.
- Knowledge of relevant API, ASME and other recognised international standards.
- Sabahan candidates are preferred.
Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM11,500.00 per month
