• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Industrial Design, Exhibition Design, Architecture, Creative Design or related field.

• Preferably 2–4 years of relevant project design experience.

• Proficiency in SketchUp is mandatory.

• Good 3D visualisation, creative design and spatial planning skills.

• Good understanding of materials, fabrication methods and practical buildability.

• Able to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

• Responsible, proactive and able to work independently as well as within a team.

• Experience in festive decorations, retail, exhibitions, events, interior fit-out or design-and-build projects will be an added advantage.

• Knowledge of other rendering and design software will be an added advantage

The Project Designer is responsible for transforming creative concepts into practical, visually impactful and workable 3D project designs.

The role works closely with the Senior Project Designer, Creative Lead and Technical Design team to ensure designs meet the intended concept, project requirements, timeline, buildability and budget.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Develop 3D project designs and visual presentations based on approved concepts, moodboards and project briefs.

• Translate creative direction into practical and workable project designs.

• Ensure designs are accurate in layout, proportion, dimensions and overall application.

• Consider materials, fabrication methods, site conditions and production practicality during design development.

• Complete assigned design tasks and revisions within agreed project timelines.

• Apply Design to Cost (DTC) principles by considering suitable materials, design complexity and production requirements.

• Coordinate with Senior Project Designer, Technical Designer, Project Management, Production and other related teams.

• Highlight potential design, buildability, cost or timeline issues before further development.

• Update project leads on design progress, pending information and roadblocks.

• Maintain proper design files, revisions and project documentation.

• Any other duties assigned by the Superior/ Management from time to time
