Role Description The Procurement Executive is responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities to support MISC Group’s maritime and energy operations. This full-time, on-site role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur involves preparing and processing purchase requisitions and purchase orders, coordinating with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, and sourcing suitable suppliers in line with company policies. The role includes evaluating quotations, negotiating prices and terms, monitoring delivery schedules, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The Procurement Executive will maintain accurate procurement records, analyze purchasing data to optimize costs and efficiency, and contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes and systems.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Purchasing Processes and Purchase Management to handle end-to-end procurement activities effectively.
• Candidates should be proficient in managing Purchase Orders, including preparation, tracking, and documentation in relevant procurement systems.
• Candidates should demonstrate solid Analytical Skills to assess supplier performance, evaluate quotations, and support cost optimization.
• Candidates should have clear and professional Communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, negotiate with suppliers, and prepare reports.
• Relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or sourcing within maritime, energy, or industrial sectors is highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of ERP or procurement software, contract basics, and vendor management best practices is an advantage.
• A diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
