Role Description

The Supervisor role at Valiram in Kuala Lumpur is a full-time, on-site position responsible for leading daily store operations and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This role includes supervising and motivating the sales team, setting clear performance expectations, and providing coaching and feedback to support individual and team growth. The Supervisor monitors visual merchandising and store presentation, oversees inventory handling, stock replenishment, and loss prevention activities, and ensures adherence to company policies and standard operating procedures. The role also involves managing daily schedules, supporting sales targets, handling escalated customer inquiries, and collaborating with management to implement promotions and initiatives that align with the brand’s luxury retail standards.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people management skills, including team supervision, performance coaching, and conflict resolution.
• Customer service and sales skills, with the ability to drive store performance, build customer relationships, and handle escalations professionally.
• Retail operations skills, including inventory management, merchandising, cash handling, and adherence to store procedures.
• Communication and interpersonal skills for clear, respectful interaction with customers, team members, and management.
• Organizational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and respond to operational issues quickly.
• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or a customer-facing supervisory role is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required by retail operations.
