Role Description The Technical Service Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Malaysia. This role is responsible for providing technical support and service for packaging equipment and systems, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair to our Southeast Asia market customers. The Technical Service Engineer will diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues, and propose effective solutions to ensure equipment reliability and performance. The role involves collaborating with customers and internal teams, preparing service reports and documentation, and supporting preventive maintenance programs. The Technical Service Engineer is also expected to assist in training customer personnel, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Technical Services and Technical Support, experience in servicing industrial or packaging equipment will be plus.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Troubleshooting abilities to identify root causes and implement practical technical solutions.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with customers, prepare clear reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or related Engineering fields are preferred.
• Experience with packaging machinery, automation systems, or food industry equipment is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site at customer facilities, travel as required, and manage time and priorities independently.
